Our Vision
Three years ago, working with the Siempre Unidos clinics, we began treating people suffering from AIDS in Honduras. As antiretroviral medications successfully returned patients to health, we realized we were only fixing part of the problem. In stigma-laden Honduras, being HIV-positive—even if you're healthy—means it's virtually impossible to find employment.
So we began fighting the social problem as well as the medical problem. SiempreSol provides employment—in a safe environment, at fair trade wages—for those living with HIV/AIDS in Honduras. All of our jewelry, onesies and tote bags are made with earth-friendly material and bring new hope to those living with the epidemic. It gives them the chance to support themselves and their families in dignity.
All proceeds go to the workshop and clinic. Our goal, with your support, is to grow to a self-sustaining model that can expand throughout Central American and beyond.
